WPA2 AES PSK

Hi Experts,

I see that these are the commands for 802.1x, but what is the PSK version of this command?

wlan security wpa wpa2 ciphers aes enable 1

wlan security wpa akm cckm enable 1

That seems to be correct, but I get a strange error when I try to deploy it.

wlan create 2 contractor contractor

wlan radio 2 802.11bg

wlan interface 2 int143           

wlan security wpa wpa2 ciphers aes enable 2

wlan security wpa akm psk set-key ascii Cisco123 2

wlan peer-blocking drop 2

wlan chd 2 disable

(5508-DC) config>wlan security wpa akm psk set-key ascii Cisco123 2

ERROR: PSK and/or FT-PSK should be configured on WLAN 2

(5508-DC) config>wlan peer-blocking drop 2

(5508-DC) config>wlan chd 2 disable

Any thoughts why the error?

Add this line

config wlan security wpa akm psk enable

Actually, just tested it and I get the same error. Any other thoughts?

Try this:

wlan create 2 contractor contractor

wlan radio 2 802.11bg

wlan interface 2 int143           

wlan security wpa akm 802.1x disable 2

wlan security wpa akm psk enable 2

wlan security wpa akm psk set-key ascii Cisco123 2

wlan peer-blocking drop 2

wlan chd 2 disable
