Data rates are not configured properly.
There is a problem with the data rate settings.
To properly connect different client adapters with 802.11B cards, make sure that data rates 1, 2, 5.5, and 11 (mbps) are set to require and that all other data rates are set to enable. The 802.11B cards do not understand the 54 mbps data rate, so the cards do not work if the data rate is set to require on the connecting Access Point (AP).
