Problem Details

The login screen is showing that the RAID-1 array has failed. is this cosmetic software bug?

 

Cisco Mobility Services Engine: AIR-MSE-3355-K9

One of the hard drives in the RAID-1 array has failed. Please contact Cisco Customer Support

immediately for assistance and further guidance.

Cause / Problem Description

When user login to the MSE he sees error message "RAID-1 array has failed"

 

Workaround

Check if the /etc/motd file has the error message. If so, clear the contents of this file. If there is a /etc/motd.bak file and it has the proper contents, copy this file to /etc/motd. This should fix the error message issue.
