Resolution
There are two options that can be configured so that Light Extensible Authentication Protocol (LEAP) does not ask for login credentials every time the Aironet Client Utility (ACU) program is accessed to connect to the WLAN.
The first option is to configure the Allow Saved LEAP Username and Password parameter, which uses a saved username and password. When you choose this option LEAP does not require you to enter a LEAP username and password each time the computer reboots. Authentication occurs automatically as needed using a saved username and password (which are registered with the RADIUS server).
The second option is to use the same login and password for Windows and LEAP. This makes your Windows username and password to also serve as your LEAP username and password, giving you only one set of credentials to remember. After you log in, the LEAP authentication process begins automatically. This option is the default setting.

Note: If the Allow Saved LEAP Username and Password parameter is not configured correctly, the Cisco Access Point (AP) can encounter association problems. Sometimes the client running LEAP authentication fails to connect when the client enters the username and password for it. This happens because the Allow Saved LEAP Username and Password parameter forces the client to use this username and password, which is stored within the actual Aironet Desktop Utility (ADU) or ACU program.
