Core Issue
If the template is configured to disable Telnet or Secure Shell (SSH) using the Services > Telnet/SSH page, and if the hostname command precedes the enabling of Telnet or SSH in the Custom Values page, the configuration job fails after issuing the hostname command.
Resolution
Issue the hostname command as the last command in the Custom Values page.
