The Configuration jobs fail because the Telnet/SSH credentials are not valid error message is received even though credentials are entered on the WLSE

Core Issue

It is possible that the credentials entered on the CiscoWorks Wireless LAN Solution Engine (WLSE) do not exactly match the data entered in Devices > Discovery > Device Credentials > Telnet/SSH User/Password.

Resolution

Ensure that the Telnet/SSH credentials data entered on the WLSE show the correct device login response. Match the device login sequence with the credential fields, as shown in the Firmware jobs fail because the Telnet/SSH credentials are not valid section of FAQs and Troubleshooting. For more information on how to troubleshoot WLSE, refer to the Configuration Troubleshooting section of FAQs and Troubleshooting. Also, refer to FAQ and Troubleshooting Guide for the CiscoWorks WLSE and WLSE Express, 2.13.
