Uploading an AP configuration through the CLI fails

Occasionally, the connectivity to the Access Point (AP) is lost when trying to upgrade the configuration through the Command-Line Interface (CLI) just after the new IP address is configured on the AP through the CLI. To avoid this problem, add the IP address of the Bridge-Group Virtual Interface (BVI) as the last statement of the configuration files, so that the connectivity is not lost until the full configuration is uploaded on the AP.

For more information on the CLI, refer to Using the Command-Line Interface.

For more information about the IP address and BVI interface, refer to the Assigning an IP Address Using the CLI section of Configuring the Access Point for the First Time.
