Core Issue

The PC card controller mode is not set to PCI compatible.

Resolution

If your client adapter is not being recognized by your computer's personal computer memory card international association (PCMCIA) adapter, check your computer's Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) and make sure that the PC card controller mode is set to Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) compatible. Try using a different slot. Installing the folder in  a different folder sometimes resolves the issue. You may need to specify a different interrupt request (IRQ) or I/O range for the adapter if these problems occur on a computer running a Windows OS.
