Can a 2504 WLC on a remote site provide guest access on one SSID, drop taht out locally on that site and provide corporate access on a second WLC that it then tunnls to a 5508 at the main corporate site ?
Thanks

Yes, the 2504 can have a SSID and be mapped to a local VLAN. You can also orginate tunnel on a 2500, so yea you can move traffic back to a 5508.
The one thing that a 2504 cant do is terminate a guest anchor.

You could do that, but it might be a better design to do the Guest WLAN as FlexConnect local switching, and home the AP to the WLC at the corporte site.
Save you from having the WLC at the remote site.

If we did flex connect local switching (thats what used to HREAP presumably) then can we still have a a guest portal for the guest access even if they are being mapped to a VLAN on the remote site for local internet breakout (which is all guests get - they dont want to bung up the corporate WAN with guest traffic) ?

They should still be able to get the splash page from the WLC, as the WLC is still 'in the path' until they are out of WEBATUH_REQ state.
