Hi There,
Is there a way to reset the WCS communication password without resetting to factory default?
I would like to change the WCS password but do not have local console access (only SSH). When I re-run the setup script (setup.sh) It does not give me the option for the WCS passowrd.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Andy

Hi Fella,
Sorry, I probably didnt explain the question very well.
Its the password that is used between the WCS server and a location appliance. (The password entered when you add the location appliance to WCS). It needs to be reset on the location appliance.
Many Thanks
Andy

if you can ssh into the box, cd into /opt/locserver/logs and do the following:
grep -r 'password' *
you should see similar output:
Get-Server-Info-1-0.log: 1/09/06 18:41:51.667 INFO[location] (server,protocol,port,username,password) localhost http 8001 admin
default password is admin
