HI

We have two WDS IWireless Domain Services) in our network. One of the WDS went faulty yesterday and we have replaced it today.Everything is working fine but i have a small query .All the access points are showing registered including WDS in other WDS when i run the command show wlccp wds ap

but on the replaced WDS , all access points are showing registered except itself when running the same command.Below is the screen shot from both WDS..What is imapct of this thing...

GGN_DLF_AP5                      0012.7fe7.b9b1  58.2.37.207     REGISTERED

GGN_DLF_WDS_02               0012.7fe7.b9b7  58.2.37.196    REGISTERED   >>>>>WDS itself showing registered in one WDS

GGN_DLF_AP20                     0012.7fdc.0948  58.2.37.209    REGISTERED

on other WDS ,WDS is not showing registered..

GGN_DLF_AP24                     0012.7fe4.acda  58.2.37.158     REGISTERED

GGN_DLF_AP7                      0012.7fdc.095c  58.2.37.141     REGISTERED

GGN_DLF_AP43                     0012.7fdc.095e  58.2.37.177     REGISTERED

So just want to know whether it should be registered or not ?

Hi,
Same wlccp config in both WDSs?
They are added to the same RADIUS server? Or they use local radius feature?

Rating useful replies is more useful than saying "Thank you"

yes both WDS have same configuration except the IP address.

Both are added in RADIUS server.

Hi, Punit,

Normally, you should have WDS to be registered to itself.

wlccp ap username GGN_DLF_WDS_02 password

seems to be missing.

Thanks, Irina
