Hi Florian,

Scheduled for 8/30/2014 at this time.

Once we get closer we should know a better date, but as an FYI a lot of times we do take an extra week or two to finish up testing; so mid-September for sure.

Thanks,

Sam

Hi Konrad,

No new features in 5.1.3 just bug fixes.

5.2.0 was supposed to be 6/20 but checking 3 hours ago I saw 6/27 as the new date for release.

BGP flowspec is, indeed, coming in 5.2.0

Hello

Can you please share some information about the XRv 5.2 release? Is it going to be released at the same time with the other IOS-XR or later? Also do you plan some new features that does not work in 5.1. Things like VPLS, FRR etc, aside HA that was already mentioned.

Hi Carlos, L2 bridging is

Hi Carlos,

L2 bridging is supported but not full L2VPN (control plane should work for a PW but no data will pass). Full L2VPN is something we are working towards but requires emulating an NP in software.

Thanks,

Sam

What do you mean L2 Bridging

What do you mean L2 Bridging is supported? Is that 2 local ACs tied together in a Bridge-domain 'should' work?

Thanks for your answer, Sam. That'll be a happy day when close to full basic functionalities are supported in an emulated environment.
