Hi guys,

we have noticed  that all the new RMAs on the network for A9K-RSP-4G are comming with the config register set to 0x2142,

HD with 80Gb and 1.8 of disk0, same as after reparticion on a 1.5 disk,

all the  cards are VID: V03.

Are these  the expected values for all V3 cards?

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

NM

No, they should not be coming set with the password recovery config-register.

How many have you seen this on so far?

Thanks,

Sam

Hi Sam,

right, thats my concern...so far we have detected about six, all V3 cards, and all have  config-reg set to pass recovery, no changes were performed manually.

Some of them were already reloaded in the scope of an ongoing network upgrade, and no issues were triggered because of that, nevertheless it seems really strange.

Tomorrow i will check all the latest replaced cards on the network and let u know.

Thanks again for the quick response!
