Hi,

It looks like you are hitting CSCva55335. Fixed from IOS-XR 6.1.2 onwards.

According to the doc, the workaround is to erase the nvram as follows:

erase nvram:

OR

erase nvram: format

In case you omit the "format" keyword, the issue might reoccur after reloading.

Cheers.

Hi,

I have never seen this problem but I can try to help you out.

Is this router in production or a new installation? If it's possible do an upgrade to the latest Service Pack of 5.3.4
Check if there are dumps in the dumper folder. This would be great for TAC.

Thank you for your recommendation.

Doing the "erase nvram: format" command solved this problem while running Verson 5.3.4

Also, we have subsequesntly upgraded to Version 6.1.4 and the problem has disappeared

I am glad to hear that.

Cheers.
