ASR9000 Cluster ISSU

Does anyone knows which IOSXR version will have a true ISSU for 9K cluster? Is it on the roadmap?

Hi David,

We should have more details 1H14, but it is likely that this will come to fruition in 5.3.x

For now we do have the scripted method which only presents a few minutes of downtime https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-34114

Hi David,

NVSSU is still planned, but this will not be full ISSU.

With this we should achieve <60s of traffic downtime compared to <5m with the upgrade script.
