Hi,
Currently we have a CRS-3 router connected to a 7609 router through DWDM network. In 7609 we have the following transceivers:
DWDM-XENPAK-42.14, DWDM-XENPAK-42.94 and DWDM-XENPAK-40.56.
Now, the 7609 will change by ASR9010 and the connections to DWDM will be with transceivers DWDM-XFP-C so I would like to know how can I configure this tunable transceivers.Transceivers will be installed in A9K-8T-L Linecard.
Another question, the transceivers will be installed in continuous ports in the LineCard (Te0/1/0/2, Te0/1/0/3 and Te0/1/0/3). Is there any issue or recomendation with this?.
Thanks,
Jaime Soto.

Hello Jaime,
There is a wavelength command under a DWDM controller to configure its frequency:
here you can find a configuration guide
I am not aware of any limitations of installing XFPs one next to another.

Hello:
I will start using DWDM-XFP-C in a A9K-8T-L line card release 4.3.4(ASR9K). Can you please let me know i need to install any specific PIE software module or SMU in order to support the DWDM-XFP-C.
/Renato
