weird XR Fan issues

Can anybody advise if it's hardware related?

RP/0/6/CPU0:Aug 16 16:45:23.168 : envmon_periodic[203]: %PLATFORM-ENVMON-2-FAN_CLEAR : The fan array (Ps Fan(slot 17)) has returned to a normal level.

Hi,

you gotta check:

admin sh env temperatures

admin sh env fan

also physical examination would be good - the air filters could got dust etc.

FAIL doesn't sound too good I must say, normally on a 12k with 4.x you should see FANs being rotating:
