Why I can not set wavelength frequency 19200 (1561.42nm) in ASR9k

Hi,

We have ASR-9010-DC, at the beginning we had installed software release 4.3.4.channel 20 ( Wavelength 1561.42 nm) was working on that release.

After upgrading the software release to (V5.1.0, V5.2.0) and now, I upgraded the ASR to the latest software release V5.1.3, Channel 20 stopped working, even you are able to set the channel in the configuration.

Please see the config & brief shows:

It's seems that Cisco has stopped supporting ITU Channel 83,84.

Is there any recommendation for this issue?

Hello, Did you happen to have

Hello,

Did you happen to have CSCup14308 installed in 4.3.4?

And were you using a -TR or -SE based LC (or 9001)?

The DWDM-SFP10G-C optics are supported via this SMU and then in 5.2.2+ and 5.3.0+

Thanks,

Sam

Hello Sam,No we didn't

Hello Sam,

No we didn't install this bug fix.

Actually, all the line cards that we are using for this connection are Trident-Based.

The line card that we are using now is A9K-8T-L.

Just to clarify the problem, Only ITU channel 83,84 are not working, The other channels are working normally.

Thanks for your help.
