Solved: Graphs of network usage

Hi,

Installing LMS 3.0 for a client on Windows 2003.

Customer is used to seeing graphs for basic network utilisation (bits in/out, errors in/out, unicast packets in/out) from tools like Cacti & MRTG.

Where do i go in LMS 3.0 to find graphs? I have setup the devices and they are managed in DFM, CM etc. C

This is not possible with stock LMS. As of LMS 3.0.1 (patches released a few weeks ago to Cisco.com) there is a new LMS add-on called the Health and Utilization Monitor. You will need to purchase a license for this component, but you get a 90 day demo with LMS 3.0.1. HUM will allow you to do many of the graphing functions that MRTG and Cacti provide. The 3.0.1 patch can be downloaded from http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/lms301 .

do we have something in LMS 2.6 ? Or would i need to purchase 3.0 to get benefit of HUM....???

You need to purchase LMS 3.0 to get HUM.
