I need to configure IP phone agent on a UCCX 7.0 High Availability cluster with CUCM 7.1(5)
The configuration does not seem to be in Admin Guide - can anyone point me to a link with configuration information.
Thanks

Hi James
Install info for IPPA is in the 'CAD Installation Guide' http://cisco.biz/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_7_0/installation/guide/cad66ig-cm.pdf
Start at page 52.
Reality is that there's not much to configured - the service itself will already be running, you basically need to do these things:
1) Set up an IP Phone XML Service pointed at http://192.168.252.44:6293/ipphone/jsp/sciphonexml/IPAgentInitial.jsp
2) In postinstall.exe on the server, set the BIPPA user on the 'services configuration' section (described in the doc above in the 'create a Unified CM User') to an account that is associated with all the phones and has CTI perms - I usually set this to the RMCM user, as that will already be set up appropriately (no point having to maintain two users).
3) For a HA setup, you actually set up TWO xml services; one for each server in the pair. If someone accesses the 'wrong' one (i.e. the non-active one) they get a message telling them the 'service is not active'. They must then use the other service. Not a very slick setup - you could probably work around it with clever ACE config if you have such a device on your network....

Thanks (again) Aaron
Great tip about using the RMCM user rather than the suggested telecaster
