UCCX 8.0.x Third party historical reporting

Hi guys,
I wonder if you could access the database uccx 8.0.x to manage the historical reporting, not using the Cisco HR Report Tool.
Which Products and compatible with UCCX 8 Informix (IBM) database (eg Crystal Reports?)
to create custom historical reports?.

Where is the Cisco documentation for this aspect of integration?

Thx

Francesco

Crystal Reports is supported, and some instructions provided Historical Reporting admin guide.  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_0/programming/guide/uccx80hradm.pdf

You can also use almost any other tool by using the IBM Informix ODBC connection.  Follow the procedure on pg460 of the UCCX admin guide http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_0/configuration/guide/uccx801ag.pdf

I just want to point out the irritating support policy that the BU takes on this topic before you venture down this path. Using Crystal Reports is only supported for developing RPT files that are then used within the Historical Reporting Client (HRC). In other words using Crystal Enterprise to generate reports directly is not supported by Cisco. Likewise accessing the db_cra database through ODBC beyond the two real-time tables used for wallboard applications is also not supported at all. The verbal answer is that you are probably safe to make infrequent queries (e.g. no more than once every 10-15 seconds) assuming you count that ODBC connection as one of your HRC sessions during the sizing exercise. Essentially they are saying you can probably copy the tables to your own data warehouse without causing Informix to choke but you're on your own. Remember that TAC deems systems not-supported as soon as they venture off the reservation. You would need to stop doing third-party reporting and then reproduce your problem - even if it has nothing to do with reporting - before TAC will help you.
