We are implementing IP Communicator for agents over the wan and wish to restrict the RTP audio. Below is a Cisco link that informs it can be done in CallManager as well as the communicator. However, I cannot find this option in the CUCM, Can anyone help

Hi Simon,
When you configure IP Communicator in CUCM have a look at the Phone Configuration page, down towards the bottom. You will see;
Product Specific Configuration
and then these two options;
RTP Port Range Start
RTP Port Range End
Hope this helps!

Hi,
Is there any way of reducing the RTP port range globally on the CM, as opposed to just on the softphone phone configuration.
So that one could force a standard phone like a 7940 to only use a specific port range.
Thanks
