Door Phone on UC560

I am installing a UC560 and need to add a door phone to system to ring at reception. The door hardware needs extension as hotline, so going off hook will cause it automatically dialing extension 221, so reception can press a number to activate door open.

Any suggestions?

Add "intercom 221 barge-in" to your ephone-dn for the door phone.

Hi,

Here is how to setup PLAR on CME:

ephone-dn 1

number 5000 ———– this number may be avoided (No need to call a courtesy phone)

intercom 4000 barge-in

ephone 1

button 1:1

autoline 1

As soon as you lift the handset or go off hook,it will call 4000. (simulates PLAR)

Here is another that will do PLAR in CME

ephone-dn 1
number 100
trunk 200

ephone 1
button 1:1
autoline 1

As soon as you will go off-hook, 200 will be dialed.
