config change report issue LMS 2.5

Is there a way to either disble the port cost or portvlan costs from changing when NICs autonegotiate.

When the NICs autonegotiate a new speed the port cost and portvlan cost changes accordingly (which is expected) but I'd like to set this so it either doesn't get written into the config or is filtered out of the config change report in LMS 2.5.

Or is there a way to filter the port cost and/or portvlan cost from being seen by the config change reports in LMS 2.5?

These are in CatOS Cat 6500 switches.

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I don't think you can filter a particular config in the LMS 2.5, the entire config from the device will be fetched and any changes to the config will be updated in the config change report. check out the following link for information on Archiving Configurations and Managing Them Using Archive Management :
