asdm upgrade wizard hangs

This used to work fine, until recently, now it just hangs when I attempt to use it.  Doesn't matter which version ASDM, from 6.4 though 7.15.  I start it, put in my CCO credentials, then wait as it just sits there.

Hi,

I think this might be related to JAVA or ASDM incompatibility.

What version of JAVA are you running ? Have you tried to upgrade the ASDM to the latest version available on CCO and see if that works.

The problem started after upgrading ASDM, I just dont remember which version it stopped working on, or I would revert.  I manage and maintain several dozen various ASA, with different versions of ASDM installed, and I don't remember when it stopped working, I used it all the time.

Hi tahequivoice,

 

Can you try open it via Fire-fox browser and you also need to enable java plun-in from your computer's control-panel as shown in the image.
