We are upgrading out internet to a bonded t-1. Two new circuits have been installed. For some reason, the IDS will not allow internet traffic via the new circuits. Everything is exactly the same from a IP address/Network standpoint. The only difference is the Ethernet port speed coming out of the new router going into our switch is 100meg and the old router is 10meg? Not sure if that is the problem or not. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Make sure your IPS port is in auto-negotiate mode. You might have had to explicitly config it to 10M to get that speed before.

I have had them set it to 10meg and we are going to try it again at noon today. I will post the results. Thanks.
