I connect 2 analogue phones onto the 2 ports of the ATA186. The first port can make call properly. However, if I call from the second port, it ring the other party but quickly drop the call after the first ring. I have set on the CCM to forward call to voice mail during no answer and busy. I received some message from the debug isdn q931 as follow: anyone has a hint?

Seems to me youre running into a codec mismatch. Remember the ATA cannot do g729 calls on both the ports, if you are using g729 on one port, then the other will automatically default to g711.

Hi,
Sounds like a Codec mismatch for the second line, check it out. Try making the call only with the second line when the first line is on-hook.
