Need to fix a user who is getting the failsafe message after entering username and password. Callers can leave messages and messages show up in exchange inbox. MWI does not light.
Applog shows the following errors:
IAvDohMailUser::get_PrimaryMailbox returned [0x8004000c] on line 209 of file h:\commsvr\Sources\ConversationEng\AvStateSvr\AvSGetMailboxStatus.cpp

Running conversation SubMenu on Port 1
Subscriber Display Name : Nick Koumentakos
Subscriber Alias : NKoument

Running conversation SubMsgCount on Port 1

GetMailboxStatus returned [0x8004000c] on line 108 of file h:\commsvr\Sources\ConversationEng\AvStateSvr\AvSGetMailboxStatus.cpp

Running conversation SubMenu on Port 1
Subscriber Display Name : Nick Koumentakos
Subscriber Alias : NKoument

Running conversation SubMsgCount on Port 1

Thanks,
Chris

Is this happening to just one mailbox? That error is generated when Unity goes to check the Inbox but doesn't get a response from Exchange. This can happen if the Exchange server is down or there are network problems.
Possibly the mailbox was moved or the home server was modified, such that Unity doesn't know this mailbox's correct location.
See this post for instructions on how to disable/re-enable the mailbox to see if it helps.

The user hasn't been moved but the subscriber was deleted and recreated in an effort to fix the problem.
Nod dhoproptest -s does not return OK after trying to logout the users, the app just dies.
Do I need to open a tac case for this issue ?
Thanks.

I have seen similar situations where a reboot of the subscriber's home Exchange server followed by a Unity reboot (including on-box Exchange) managed to get things working again. If that's an option that hasn't been tried yet, it's worth a shot. If that account still gives you trouble, TAC should probably take a look at it.

Apparently the User was moved after apparently being initially created on the wrong server. We'll cycle Unity to allow the move to complete and then try again later.
Thanks for you help.
