I need help in replacing my organization's PBX system with an IP Telephone LAN but connecting to the outside world using PSTN. Anybody with info on products as well as product combinations that implement the total solution.

If you need information on Cisco's AVVID product line, start at http://www.cisco.com/go/avvid
If you already know about that and need information on choosing a gateway to connect between your IP Telephony installation and the PSTN, try this link:

How large is the PBX / site - that is, how many phones do you need, and what type of connection to the PSTN? Are you multisite?
As an example, we've done about six architectures now for customers, as well as running CallManager internally, and used the Catalyst 6000 with Inline Power Ethernet, the E1 services card and CallManager on a 7835 for one, with the rest being smaller scale setups based on 3600 routers and 3524XL-PWR switches. If you can let me have more information on your site I can get you some of that info if it will help?
