I have a 1720 Router with the modular WAN interface slots.

Which Wan Interface Card do I need to facilitate my PPP frame-relay between 2 buildings at 256K?

Is your carrier providing you with a DSU/CSU?

If yes, and you know for sure you will never need another serial interface (3174, AS/400, redundant frame link) then you can use a WIC-1T. If you think you may need an additional port in the future I would go with a WIC2T.

If you need to provide DSU/CSU functionality then I would go with the WIC-1DSU-T1. This eliminates having another external device to support.
