Hello Jeff,
if the linecard is Engine3 and supports PBR you should be fine
PBR implementation with change of ip next hop can be implemented in CEF TCAM tables.
Hope to help

Hi Giuseppe,
Here is my 3GE Card.
L3 Engine: 2 - Backbone OC48 (2.5 Gbps)
Is it supported?

Hello Jeff,
I think PBR is not supported well on 3GE Engine2 linecards I remember some years ago we had a customer that wanted to perforom PBR on subinterfaces and this was not possible on 3GE engine2 and we had to configure PBR on MSFC of Cat6500.
as an example of the different implementations I've found about ACL implementation
to be noted that Cisco has introduced a new 3GE linecard with engine4+ and the engine2 is now end of sale.
Hope to help
Giuseppe
