FM_SERVER_PKG for MDS 9700

Hello,

Can anyone confirm if FM_SERVER_PKG is still required on MDS 9700 and DCNM? I included DCNM SAN licencse for managing MDS with DCNM, and I think Fabric Performance feature is included in that license, but I need confirmation.

Hello Krzysztof, here we did have to get FM_SERVER_PKG licenses for about a hundreds of MDS ( 92xx/95xx/97xx) in order to activate the DCNM monitoring part.

Someone from Cisco told me that we're in a moment where DCNM Server-centric AND MDS-centric licensing can occour at the same time, especially if HW is got from IBM that doesn't support DCNM Server based licensing...
