I have a SIP trunk to the PSTN when I make calls through my gateway over the SIP trunk to PSTN DTMF is not recognized. My VOIP dial peer looks like
dial-peer voice 5001 voip
description SIP DIAL-PEER TO TELCO
destination-pattern 9[2-9]..[0-9]...
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind progress enable 8
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:69.51.100.172:30026
session transport udp
incoming called-number .
dtmf-relay rtp-nte digit-drop
codec g711ulaw
ip qos dscp ef signaling
no vad
My SIP trunk provider says they are not seeing the DTMF on there end.

I changed the dtmf-relay to
dtmf-relay rtp-nte cisco-rtp
and it works
dial-peer voice 5001 voip
description SIP DIAL-PEER TO TELCO
destination-pattern 9[2-9]..[0-9]...
progress_ind setup enable 3
progress_ind progress enable 8
session protocol sipv2
session target ipv4:69.51.100.172:30026
session transport udp
incoming called-number .
dtmf-relay rtp-nte cisco-rtp
codec g711ulaw
ip qos dscp ef signaling
no vad

Can you send your SIP configuration? I have it set up the same way, and I still do not get dtmf no do I hear the ringback.
Thanks

FYI.. I upgraded my IOS from 12.4 (20)T to 12.4 (24)T and it fixed my dtmf issue. I still don't hear ringback, however.
