ADAM server for CUP with CUPC

We have customer using CUP version 6 with CUPC version 7.x

3rd party have provided an ADAM directory and the design is that we integrate the CUP server with the ADAM directory - is this a supported configuration ?

CUCM is integrated with the Customer AD and the ADAM server is updating via LDAP from the AD.

Do we need specific fields from the ADAM for lookups for the CUPC client ?

Is there any Cisco documentation that supports integration with ADAM?

I do not believe ADAM is supported; however, neither CUCM or CUPS require schema extensions to Active Directory any longer. The inquiries are read-only and any additional information is stored in IDS.

Thanks for the reply, Cisco have confirmed that it is supported - necessary fields such as telephone must be brought over.This should work since it is a LDAPv3 service, and you can set the port

number in the LDAP Server configuration.
