Hi,
Kindly I have 4-IPCC servers in a HA deployment 2-Engine & 2-DB (4.05)
I need to have 2 of them in another site as a redundancy over wan
This wan is leased line-Fiber-leased line
It have a very good latency
I know that clustering over wan isn't supported for IPCC 4.05
But I'll give it a try,,
I need only your help on how the servers talk to each other,, is this through broadcast [not layer 3 connectivity] as Cisco advise to have all of them in the same building in the same vlan
So the wan must be all Fiber so they will be on the same vlan ..
Or they are talking to each other with IP addresses ?
That I think with the current WAN situation,, I'll do natting for the servers that will be moved to the other building
But don't sure if they are talking layer 2 or layer 3 that I can't found on Cisco how the heartbeat work between HA nodes in a cluster
Regards

Hi,
I find these words in the admin guide
The LDAP server stores information about the cluster in a cluster profile. A
cluster profile is an LDAP Organizational Unit that contains a set of LDAP
entries, which include data relating to the Cisco CRS servers, components, and
licenses installed in a cluster. A cluster profile allows the use of the same LDAP

Hi,
My ask is changed :)
For the above case I'll use nating so as to not changing the ip address of the 2-servers that will be moved
So the Both sides will need to speak with the natted IPs
So Can I change this through the CRS Serviceability utility on each server , or it is not recommended at all ,, that I see on Cisco you can change the cucm ip addr using the serviceability utlity
So what about changing the IPCC IPs that will talk to each other
Thanks
