Hi,
We have a 3ppp product that is connected to our IOS_XR router.
This 3ppp node use icmp with ttl=1 to check the inverness.
If the node send more then 100 icmp/s the router stop to answer.
is it possible with command to set how many icmp message/s should be allowed?
BR Niklas

The drops you are getting are related to LPTS policer violations. These are normal and in place to restrict packet processing on LC/RP CPUs. The workaround will be to reduce the size of ICMP packet that the 3ppp node sends to the router.
