How's the mdsproc on the central controller and other PGs doing? Need to rule out that this is an isolated issue and not something related to any layer 1 or 2 issues regarding your private network.
A few things you can check
- What does Portico tell you regarding mdsproc? Is it simply InSvc-Pr-Dsb or something else?
- For your adapter connections, is your Visible/Public NIC listed above the Private NIC?
- If you dump the PG1B mdsproc log, does it say the following:
Connectivity with duplexed partner has been lost due to a failure of the private network, or duplexed partner is out of service
Trace: Received TOS request: sequence = 1
Trace: Sending TOS response: sequence=1 status=ENABLED
Peer Synchronizer was found to be active
- If you dump the PG1A mdsproc log, does it say the following:
Connectivity with duplexed partner has been lost due to a failure of the private network, or duplexed partner is out of service
Initiating test of peer Synchronizer
Trace: Received TOS request: sequence = 1
Trace: Sending TOS response: sequence=1 status=ENABLED
Peer Synchronizer was found to be active
Synchronizer suspending operation
MDS going out of service
- if you run opctest /cust /node PG1B
opctest: status
what do you see for the last heartbeat datetime for process opc ? Also, make sure you type quit and not exit to get out of opctest.
